Seems to have gone downhill a bit since new management. The restaurant feels like they are on an efficiency drive, for example your order is no longer taken at the table, the menus are now just laminated paper, whereas before they were quite nice booklets, and also my husband ordered eggs on sourdough which despite being nice, was absolutely not sourdough, just standard white bread! Definitely lost some charm which is such a shame.

Been here a few times, love it around Christmas and Easter. I enjoy the pound and fish in restraunt. Toilets have baby changing facilities. Fruit sold and food. Garden equipment and jellycat toys. Lovely area and lovely shop. Worth a visit. I have found staff to be lovely and helpful.

Took my Father-in-law for lunch. We ordered two mains and a few drinks, plus a kids pizza. The bill came to £61. The food arrived, we had two chicken Sunday roasts. The chicken was so tough, we could not cut through it, or eat it. It has probably been left under heat lamps for a long time and dried out. There were three roast potatoes, and a small slice of turnip, so thin and small you could hardly see it. No vegetables in sight. My son's pizza was very small, two bites and it was gone, plus about 6 chips on the side. My view if you have chef's, they should be checking food before it goes out. The main meals were about £15.80 each, which are not cheap prices. Would be visit again, maybe for a slice of cake and a coffee, to be on the safe side. Before leaving, I did mention it to the waiter, but not sure if my feedback will do any good. The expectation was high and the results were very poor.

The layout has been changed since I last went and it has improved the experience. Great choice of stock and products. A restaurant and cafe. Well worth a visit.

Today's visit was disappointing, the food in the cafe remains fairly pricey, fine if it meets the brief, but the quality has dropped considerably since we were last there (before Christmas). I had a blue diamond club sandwhich, with dry over cooked chicken, unpleasant bread and undercooked chips (nice fried egg and salad that saved it). Please review your menu Blue Diamond... They are changing over stock with the change in seasons so was quite sparce, maybe this will improve? Staff were friendly and helpful.

Arrived at 1.30 on Saturday to be told that no hot food will be served. As they are too busy. They will only be serving coffee and cake. But that will be an hour wait. What I can’t seem to grasp is that the amount of seats and capacity doesn’t change. So they are only as busy as the day before or any other day they fill the restaurant ? If this is to much reduce the capacity. Very poor experience. Travelled quite a distance to take my mum for lunch.

Just had beef Sunday roast and a complete disappointment £15.95 for 2 pieces of beef 3 frozen roast potatoes 2 pieces broceli 1 carrot and parsnip and a piece of cardboard dressed up as a yorkshire pudding with a spoonful of gravy , and on top of that Luke warm , was hoping a member of staff came back to ask if everything was OK so could tell them but no and it was cold enough without looking for someone, all tho edible i would highly recommend you drive past and try the nearest pub or McDonald's, had Sunday dinner when frosts but now been taken over would never return .

A scone just changed my life i popped in for a scone under the new management blue diamond it was incredible it was actually encrusted with diamonds and was super tasty and cheap. I came in to return a pair of socks the staff were friendly and very helpful actually. Frosts stocked a load of really good socks called heat holders they are very warm socks. They have sold out of all of them at the time of writing the socks and all the other clothing and footwear i have purchased from here have been top quality and at a very reasonable price indeed.

Me & my friends decided to visit and try out the cafe. We had a breakfast and found plenty of choice and the staff were friendly. Also we enjoyed the fruit & veg stall outside the main entrance.

Having returned to the cafe today for coffee and a cheese scone, I was very disappointed with the scone now being served up under the new management, Blue Diamond. The Frosts scone was fantastic - very tasty and a good size. The latest offering is very small and far less tasty but paradoxically more expensive. Cheese scones are important in life, so I shan’t trouble them again.😏

I having been coming to frosts cafe for years the staff work very hard. Today I came with my friend for coffee and cheese scone like we always do.Very disappointed taste was unpleasant and prices gone up.Cheaper now to go to costa and Roxton which is a shame. Standards have dropped which is a shame.
